Via Doccle, you can automatically and systematically forward all your documents to your accountant or accounting software.
Your accountant does not need a Doccle account; the only requirement is that the accounting software can receive documents via email.
During the setup process, you can choose which Doccle senders you want to automatically forward documents from.
It is also possible to select your Peppol connections for incoming and outgoing invoices.
Documents that date from before the activation of the connection are not included, but you can always forward them manually from your Doccle account.
You can follow these steps to get started:
- Go to the Connections page and choose Forward invoices automatically on the bottom right.
If you're using the Doccle app, tap + at the top of the screen and choose Connect accountant, then tap Connect accountant at the bottom. - Enter your company details; these will be automatically recognized while typing. If not, you can enter the information manually.
- Enter the email address of your accounting software and assign a name of your choice to the connection.
- Select which file types can be forwarded (PDF, XLM/UBL or all).
- Select the following connections: Uploaded Documents, Peppol - Purchase Invoices, Peppol - Sales Invoices.
- Review the details to make sure everything is correct and choose Confirm.
⚠️ Attention:
If your accounting software uses different email addresses for purchase and sales invoices, you need to follow the procedure twice. In that case, you can also assign a distinctive name to each connection, such as “incoming/outgoing invoices” or “purchase/sales invoices.”
