Peppol registration for your clients via the Doccle account for Accountants
Starting January 1, 2026, electronic invoicing via Peppol will be legally required for transactions between businesses.
With the Doccle account for Accountants, you as an accountant can handle the Peppol registration of your clients yourself, monitor their e-invoices, and automatically receive the documents in your accounting system.
What is the account for Accountants?
The Doccle account for Accountants is a special Doccle account that you use separately from your own personal Doccle account.
With this account, you can:
- Register clients for Peppol without them having to take the first step.
- Share the Peppol connections for incoming and outgoing invoices with their Doccle account so they can monitor their invoices.
- Set up how the documents reach you (automatic forwarding to your accounting software, via Voila/Codabox, or manual download).
Preparation
-
Create a separate Doccle account for your firm
Go to doccle.be -
Select Create your free account and register using your firm’s details.
Tip: Use a neutral office email address, not your personal Doccle login, to avoid confusion with private documents and to allow you to share login details with colleagues if needed.
-
Log in to the account
Use your new login details to access the Doccle account.

Step 4 – Optional: Activate DocclePro for the client
Note: these actions must be performed by the client.
- Receiving e-invoices is free and automatically activated during registration, so the client does not need to do anything for this.

- Log in to the client account.
- Click the username in the top right corner and choose Send e-invoice.
- Select the company to be billed for the DocclePro subscription and follow the payment instructions.
Step 5 – Choose how you receive the documents
As an accountant, you decide how incoming and outgoing Peppol documents are delivered to you:
- Automatic forwarding: invoices are sent directly to your accounting software or email address.
- Manual retrieval: log in to the account and download invoices whenever you choose.
- Integration with Codabox/Voila: all documents are automatically imported into your accounting system without any extra action.
Step 6 – Track the status
In the account, you can closely monitor the progress:
- Peppol activation: check per client whether the registration was successful. (via My Companies)
- Sharing Peppol connections: see whether the client has received and accepted the invitation. (via Connections)
- Document flow: track whether documents are actually being received and/or sent. (via Archive and the Advanced search button)
