Paying with a Standing Order

Simplify your administration with a standing order. No more worries about missed payments or annoying reminders. You decide how and when your invoices are paid, while always having the freedom to intervene whenever you wish.

 

What is a standing order?

A standing order is like a smart payment assistant ensuring your invoices are paid on time. You decide which companies qualify, set a maximum amount, and choose when payments occur. Easy and reassuring!

 

How do I activate a standing order?

Want to pay recurring invoices easily and on time? Follow these steps:

  • Open the invoice you wish to pay.

  • Select ‘Standing Order’ from the payment options (if offered by the company and if the amount does not exceed €500).

  • Select a payment method from your wallet or activate it via a one-time Bancontact payment.

  • Set a maximum amount and preferred timing: either as soon as possible or as late as possible.

  • Pay your current invoice to activate the standing order. Starting from your next invoice, we handle the rest.

 

Payments will now proceed smoothly and effortlessly.

 

You’re always in control

With a standing order, you always retain oversight and control:

  • You receive an email confirmation for every scheduled payment.

  • You can cancel any planned payment in advance.

  • If an invoice amount exceeds your set maximum, you’ll receive a notification to act manually.

 

How do I stop a standing order?

You can stop your standing order easily at any time:

  • Open an invoice from the company for which you’ve set up the standing order.

  • Look for the ‘Standing Order’ line in the payment overview and click the ‘Edit’ link to see the details.

  • At the bottom, you’ll find a button to deactivate the standing order.

 

Soon, you’ll also be able to further personalize your standing orders, such as changing the payment timing or maximum amount.
