On Doccle you can also upload your own documents that do not originate from Doccle senders.
You can upload up to 7500 documents of maximum 25mb per file, both via the PC version of Doccle and via the Doccle app.
Below you will find the steps for both versions of Doccle.
Via the browser/PC version of Doccle:
- Open the menu at the top right of your account and choose Upload documents.
- Choose Browse and choose the file you want to upload.
- After this, you can change the name of the document and assign a date.
- If necessary, add a new category or assign an existing category to your document.
- Click Upload File
Via the Doccle app:
- Go to the Documents tab.
- Click on the blue plus (+) button at the bottom right.
- Choose how you want to upload a document: scan a document yourself, take a photo or choose a file from the library and upload it.
- You can then assign the new document a name, date, and category.
- Click Save.
From the document itself:
(Make sure you have the Doccle app installed (Android/iOS) and that you are logged in)
- Via the files from your device, go to the document you want to upload to Doccle and open the share menu (from which you can also email, print, etc.)
- Search for the Doccle icon in the share menu (its placement depends on your version of Android/iOS and your settings)
- Tap the icon to go to the upload screen
- In the upload screen, you can change the name of the document, add categories and/or enter a date for the document.
- Confirm with Upload
Attention:
All types of files can be uploaded so that they can be saved on Doccle, but only PDF, JPG and PNG files will be displayed in your Doccle account. Other file types are not displayed.
